So far our clubs are growing two by two, literally. It is awesome. We now have a Game Director who is more than just a director. He is wonderful with the kids. He's teaching them that games are for fun and teamwork. Not always to win. We also are baptizing two of our Awana kids this Sunday!!! God has blessed our clubs so much. He is so wonderful. So all is well with our group.

A Commander wrote to us on 11/13/02

When we started Awana about two months ago we were averaging about 12 - 15 children and youth combined.  We are now averaging approx. 45 per week with a high of 61 2 weeks ago.  The best part is that 6 children have accepted Christ through this wonderful program.  We had a 5 year old little girl that told her teacher that she had accepted Christ.  While I talked with her I asked her what had happened to her recently.  She told me as only a child could that she had asked Jesus into her heart to be her Savior and forgive her of her sin.  We are now presently working with these families to get the children baptized and into our fellowship. The job does not stop with baptism, it continues with the discipleship of the children that Awana does such an excellent job of.  Again, Thank You for all your help and prayer.
